Hi! Went to/worked for GDU for 2 years before throwing up my hands and moving back to WI :) My mom's best friend and her partner did this with a house across the street from them and it has worked quite well. It's not a fabulous income stream but it was great for the neighborhood. They did have to track down the "land(slum)lord" who purchased it initially and that took some effort, so getting into friendly hands quickly would be ideal.
