Moments of Fame

The Wall Street Journal’s “Popular Personal Finance Stories,” part of the paper’s hefty online presence, picked up the interview with Cary Lockwood, the first of what I hope will be a series about entrepreneurs who come up with interesting ways to escape wage slavery. Cary said the result was a huge spike in hits at his business site, which is nice for him. And one of his network’s members, who is participating in his Salvation Army drive, said he was overwhelmed with phone calls from people wanting to donate. So that’s good. Excellent. And since the teaser that appears at the W St. J site links directly to Funny, it caused a jump of about 250 hits on the day the link was posted. Interesting.
