Ah yes: in the post I made a rash (see what I did there?) announcement that I would be trialling the lemon deodorant, to see it does work. I haven’t yet, but my lemon is primed – and I shall report/yowl back!

One idea at Miss Thrifty’s site is to use it as a deodorant. That surely would smart if you put it on right after shaving…and I would have some concern about putting it on any especially sensitive areas of skin, unless I was dead certain I had not allergy or sensitivity to it. I’ve not had lemon juice (or vinegar) bother the skin on my face…yet…

I like lemons in iced tea! But I’m afraid lemon may irritate the skin–see Paula Begoun :

You are right on about olive oil, however.
