Moments of Fame

This post crashed last week when FaM went down, just as I was almost done writing it. Today I haven’t much time…so this will have to be ultrashort. Three carnival masters kindly included Funny this week:

Patrick at Cash Money Life hosted the Carnival of Personal Finance (Should You Pay Off Your Mortgage?). If you haven’t visited this round-up, you should, if only for its interesting and strangely hilarious theme.

Sarah at Glory in the Clutter hosted the Make It from Scratch Carnival (We Don’t Need No Steenking Laundry Detergent).

The Pragmatic Environmentalist hosted this week’s Festival of Frugality (Laundry Detergent again).

MSN Smart Spending included a version of Funny’s spinoff on Frugal Scholar’s kitchen renovation series, but I can’t make the URL come up. Check out the site’s blogpage, though: today, quite an interesting discussion is going on over Whole Foods’ decision to discriminate against employees whose weight and blood test factors don’t rise to the corporation’s concept of ideal.
