Moments of Fame

Many thanks to everyone who sent guest posts while I was laid up with a shoulder dislocation! Since they were all good posts, I sent them off to the various blog festivals and round-ups. Here’s the result:

At the Festival of Frugality, hosted by Beating Broke, Budgeting in the Fun Stuff‘s “Can Minimizing Go Too Far?” won an editor’s pick.

Budgeting in the Fun Stuff also got into this week’s Carnival of Personal Finance, hosted by Punch Debt in the Face, with “How Middle-Class Are You?

Frugal Scholar’s rumination on Kids and Costs made the Carnival of Money Stories at Buxr Shopping Deals.

We didn’t make the Best of Money Stories (yet!), but despite the fact that none of our infinitely worthy offerings made this week’s cut, you really should visit Fiscal Fizzle‘s choices, if only to hook in to Personal Finance by the Book’s ever-so-slightly frightening saga of the second-hand Airstream. Reminds me of the time SDXB decided nothing would do but what we had to own an aged RV…yipes!

Thanks for linking up! It was very close between all the entries, sorry you didn’t make it this week! Keep on submitting, every host has their preferences! :)

By the way, I’d love to own an RV some day, but I’ve heard through the grapevine they are a pain to maintain. ;)
