cute indeed 🙂 i love puppies (but really who doesn’t?)
Adorable. I see lots of shoe chewing in your friend’s future.
What breed?
Shoe chewing? When Mr. Dusty, our GSD, was a pup he got one of my steel toes work boots and one of the Mrs. riding boots.
Spray with bitter apple to discourage this.
LOL! I once had a GerShep that ate a eucalyptus tree.
No joke! She chewed it all the way around just like a beaver. Killed the tree.
I’ve never found Bitter Apple to work very well. Anna the GerShep was an artist at eating shoes–and sunglasses, and TV remotes. She ate the whole arm off a leather chair one day, too.
There’s a product called “Bitter Yuck” that works a shade better than Bitter Apple. It really is yuck, too! Wear gloves to apply it, and never put it on the furniture, because it stinks and you can’t easily get the smell off your hands or out of the furniture.
The shoe issue was resolved with weird simplicity: I put a low bookcase in the closet and stored my shoes on the shelves. For some reason, it they were put away inside the bookcase, she would not go in there and pick them up and carry them off, even though the door was usually open. If I left them on the closet floor, though, they were hers!
@ George: He’s a baby English golden retriever. awwwwwwww!!!!!
That is one cute puppy!
Goldens are nice dogs. Devoted and helpful, even if they don’t have thumbs.
